say u put something in the HoM they u want to use that but still keep it in there say u play gw1 and u want that thing like a mini pet but want that in gw2. Do you get to keep it or does it have to stay in HoM?

You don't lose things by putting them in Hall of Monuments. Beyond that, nothing is really known.
